Friday: Jumu'ah

Friday is the weekly congregational prayer day for Muslims. Attending Jumu'ah prayer is obligatory for adult Muslim men and highly recommended for all believers.

Monday & Thursday: Recommended Sunnah Fasting

The Prophet ﷺ used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. When asked why, he said: "Deeds are presented on Mondays and Thursdays, and I love that my deeds be presented while I am fasting."

White Days: 13th, 14th & 15th of each Lunar Month

Fasting three days each month was regularly practised by the Prophet ﷺ. He specifically encouraged fasting the middle three days of every lunar month, known as the White Days.
